Wood Chipper

The classic wood chippers are: Disc wood chipper and drum wood chipper. Drum wood chipper used widely than then disc ones.

Disc wood chipper is more suitable for logs, branches. A knife is fixed on a rotating disc, every turn the knife will cut the wood once. By adjusting feeding conveyor’s speed, the thickness of the chips is changeable. Chips made by disc wood chipper are more uniform.

Drum wood chipper can break not only logs, branches, and other size of wood: pallets, plates, waste windows, doors and other shape of materials. Drum wood chipper’s capacity is big. As long as the material can goes into the feeding port, it can be processed. The output size can be adjusted by the screen.

Wood chipper need long conveyors for feeding and for discharging. There are belt conveyors, like for model DWC216, DWC218, and chain plate conveyor, like DWC1250. Chain plate conveyor is fixed on the main machine.
