Daily Use of Pellet Machinne

We are making three kinds of biomass pellet machine: vertical ring die pellet machine LPN and NPM series, flat die series. All of these models are been stable using in years and work good with client. Pellet machine have long service time, to keeping them in good condition and work for more years, please pay attention on daily maintenance.

1. Wood pellet machine should be fixed on the ground, can use cement or bolt. Pellet machine and motor are installed in the frame. Before working should test the machine first: turn the bearings to check if they can move normally, confirm if all the parts are fixed well with correct gap. Nowadays the machines are easy install, but it is still very important con keep the ground horizontal and flat.
2. Choose the die with suitable diameter. If client’s material in big size, but use small-diameter dies like 6mm, he may find the capacity is small, or pellets can’t go out. Before buying, client can confirm the raw material with sales staff, we will suggest the suitable die depends on the material. If client really want to make small pellets, we also can give a solution on the raw material pretreatment like crushing process.
3. Adjust the gap between ring die and pressing roller. This “gap” will decide pellet’s density, should pay a lot attention on it.
4. While pellet machine is working, must keep uniform feeding, so that the pellet making process can be stable and smoothly. If noise, high temperature is noticed, should stop the machine immediately and check.
5. When pellet machine is on work, don’t put anything on the machine. At the beginning of work, should pay attention on direction of rotation. Feed little material for testing firstly.
6. After 300 hours working, should clean bearing, replace machine oil (1/3 of the gap should be filed, but can’t be more than 1/2).
7. Before stopping pellet machine, should stop feeding firstly. When there is no material in the machine, can turn off the power. After working should clean the pellet machine and do the maintenance.
