How Much Does the Biomass Pellet Production Line Cost

The key machine for biomass pellets producing is pellet machine. Our pellet machine set including the main machine (pellet machine), control box, dust removal system, and the screw feeder – they are called as four-pcs-set. But usually client still need other machines to do the raw material pretreatment. So, what machines are in need? How much does the whole line cost?

A complete biomass pellet machine line usually has chipping process, crushing process, drying process, pellet making process, cooling and screening process, and packing process. Except the main machines in these processes, still need crew conveyors, belt conveyors, dust removal equipments, hoppers and so on. Also the automatic level, frames will have big influence for the price.

The choice of the machine kinds depends on the raw material. For making pellets need biomass material in small size, and the moisture need to be less than 15%. If bigger, need crusher; if very bigger, need chipper and crusher; if wet, need dryer. After pellets making process, the machines can be chosen by client: if they need cooling, screening or packing. The machine models depends on the capacity (how many tons client want to produce per hour) and the raw material size.

1. Raw material: sawdust, moisture < 15%; don’t need cooling and packing (the quality standard is low, can load by trucks for factory burning)

The cost is low. Budget of 20000 usd can start the producing. Taking one set of pellet machine need a small space. If client only want to produce <500kg per hour, the cost can be cheaper, as we have the small model of SPM350W.

2. Raw material: like rice husk, straw (no in roll), moisture <15%; need cooling and packing.

50000 usd can start build your factory.

3. Big material: like logs, straw in rolls, moisture >15%; need cooling and packing.

This line asks a budget more than 80000 usd.
