These points are important before purchase

Every client brings inquiry to us, we will ask these questions:

1. What your raw material? What kinds of raw material you have, how many kinds of them. The size of the raw material (for each kind). What’ the water moisture of them. If have logs, what’s the diameter of the logs. If there are straws, are they in rolls or not in roll. If have wood waste, are there nails in it…
2. What capacity do you need / how many kgs you want to make per hour.
3. What to do with the product? Need cooling or not, need packing machine or not. Need palletizer or not. If need packing machine, what kind of packages client want to pack (like 15kg, 25kg, 50kg, or 1000kg). Does he want fully automatic packing machine or normal packing machine? Does he require of the ash content?
There are many questions. So some clients will get bored, they want answers but not questions from us. It’s no problem to make a quotation with some points are unclear – and that’s we usually do. But when client decide to take the line, before purchase, these questions need to be confirmed.
Why?
1. For different materials need different machines. If all the raw material are straw, or rice husk or other small size, it’s not necessary to take a chipper. If the wood are big, need big chipper, if small, can use small chipper. Straw in rolls will have to take a rotary cutting machine, which is not cheap. Material with nails need magnets, magnets also have different price. The water moisture is also very important – the choice of dryer depends on it. The most suitable moisture for biomass pellets making is 12-15%. Dry material don’t need dryer – even need to add some water. Wet materials have to go through a dryer, usually a drum dryer. Drum dryers have many models. If client takes a dryer smaller for his capacity, it’s not convenient to use, have to open dryer for longer time than other machines. If takes a bigger dryer – waste money and the space of the work shop.
2. The capacity is easy to understand, for different capacity the design of the plant or machine choice will be different.
3. If the pellets are for industry use (such as power plant), usually don’t need packing machine, or pack them into big bag (1000kg), the big bags are recyclable. If client want to sell the pellets in supermarkets (using in houses) – need to pack them into beautiful bags. To get very clean pellets, also need to take a debarker machine before chipping process.
Above are the reasons of the question. Hope for your understanding.
Wish every client has a successful business.
