What cause pellet machine shaking

Pellet machines of our company are very stable equipments, professional used for biomass pellets making. In practice, occasionally happens, that the pellet machine shakes. How it happen, and how to solve it?

The reason that pellet machine shakes:

1. Spindle bearing wear
2. New/old ring die not mach new/old roller (or new and old rollers not mach)
3. Uneven feeding
4. Material is too big, or moisture is not suitable
5. The gap between roller and ring die is not correct
6. Kick-out-knife wear or fixed not straightly
7. Other reasons

When the pellet machine shakes, the owner should consider the above reasons. If change new material, should test before official start production. If the pellet machine shakes, should stop working and check, solve the problem, if client can’t find the reason, can contact our after sales service staff.

When the reason that causes pellet machine shaking is found, the solution will be easy:

1. Replace a new bearing, make sure that the grease system is working properly
2. New ring die + new roller, old ring die + old roller
3. Adjust the feeder, control the feeding speed.
4. Check the input size and moisture.
5. Adjust or replace the kick-out-knife.
6. When changing material, should test and have start the experienced production step by step, do not start normal working suddenly.

With this methods, can solve most of the shaking problem.

The same pellet machine from same manufactory, some clients use for only 5 years, some clients use for 15 years. Machines and tools, even clothes, chairs, keyboards – they are similar, if you take care of them, they will be in use for longer time. Every beginner will get experienced during the production, if feels the machine is not correct, don’t wait and see, should stop it and check.
